Christopher Charles Morgan

Of Murrysville, age 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the H. John Heinz, III VA Medical Center. Loving and proud father of Jason Morgan (Lori) of Murrysville and Jen Bowen (Andy) of New Stanton. Cherished Pappy of Madison and Jack. Brother of Tom Morgan (Sandy) of Monroeville and Cathy Taylor (Peter) of Churchill. Uncle of Tim Morgan (Jen) and their children Kennedy & Arabella of Monroeville, Staci Grafe (Jim) and their children Jameson & Maddyn of Monroeville, Mark Taylor (Madalyn) of Michigan, Jeff Taylor (Kristen) and their children Anna & Tessa, Maria Taylor of Churchill, and Nonna Heffley of Monroeville. Preceded in death by Diane Morgan, the mother of his children. Survived by his former wife of 30 years, Janet Cole.

Chris was born on January 12, 1953, the son of Charles & Theresa (Plucinski) Morgan. He trained as an airplane mechanic while serving in the US Air Force, and then began his career as a union sheet metal worker before starting his own roofing, construction, and dumpster company. Chris enjoyed working in his yard and was a member of Cornerstone Ministries in Murrysville.

Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Wednesday, February 18, from 3:00 PM until the time of the funeral at 7:00 PM. Private burial in Church Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Chris’s memory may be given to Pittsburgh Fisher House, 3945 Forbes Avenue, Box 240, Pittsburgh PA 15213, www.pittsburghfisherhouse.org, which provides a home away from home where military and veteran families can stay. Chris’s family is grateful for the wonderful care provided at the VA Hospital in Oakland and the H. John Heinz Community Living Center.
